Festival dello Sport - Born to win

The Sport Festival returns to Trento from 10 to 13 October 2024 with the title "Born to win".

A title, which sums up the desire of each athlete to capitalise on the effort to achieve the desired goals.

The Sports Festival, now in its 7th edition, returns to the theatres and historic buildings, squares, museums and courtyards of the city of Trento with a programme full of talks, interviews, live events, exhibitions and events led by the firms of "Gazzetta" with a parade of stars and protagonists of great national and international sport.

Guests will include Carl Lewis, Julio Velasco, Charles Leclerc, Tadej Pogacar, Alice D’Amato, Bebe Vio, Nicolò Martinenghi, Sofia Raffaeli, Gianfranco Zola, Fabio Cannavaro, George Weah, Cafu and Mario Kempes. They are just a few of the more than 200 guests from around the world who will host around 150 events.

While the organizers are currently defining the last details of a truly extraordinary programme, in the squares and streets of the historic centre of the city

complete the set-up with basketball, climbing, bowling and padel courts and, a great novelty of this edition, fully dedicated Piazza Cesare Battisti

to Paralympic sports. A space, created in collaboration with the Italian Paralympic Committee, which will allow everyone to practice different sports without

a barrier. In Piazza Dante, on the other hand, the appointment with the Olympic champion Jury Chechi and his Fitness Village returns.

MEMORABLE INTERVIEWS

La Gazzetta dello Sport will interview athletes, champions and champions of today and yesterday to discover their stories that took place during major sporting events, but to understand how records and extraordinary feats were achieved.

THE BIG THEMES

Reflections on current issues, debates with special guests and the key issues of sport. These are the great themes of the Sports Festival.

THE CONVERSATIONS

People from the world of sport (athletes, managers, coaches, professionals) will talk about the history of sport and how it is and how it has been a pillar of their lives.

THE WORKSHOPS

During the 3 days of the event, workshops will be organized (limited number) which will be unique opportunities to learn about the technical aspects of sport, to learn from the great professions and about the theory and practice of the different disciplines. A moment of focus on how to build a record.

THE BOOKSTORE

In Piazza Duomo a large library will be set up where you can consult and buy books dedicated to sport, listening to the authors' stories, presentations of titles, debates, in a rich schedule that will also animate this city space.

THE DOME

An appointment with the presence of 5 Stat Up per day and continuous workshops.

THE CINEMA

During the days of the event, the cinema will make available a wide range of films inspired by the world of sport and sports records.
