At one time, this park was an orchard-garden of the Augustinian convent of the same name, which can be seen in the famous Valvassore plan in 1562 and whose walls are still preserved. It stands next to the convent and the Church of the same name, once a reference for the German community in the city. During visiting hours, this garden is also used daily as an urban crossing between the historic centre and the nearby Castello del Buonconsiglio. The radical restoration interventions of the beginning of the century have reworked its medieval horticultural character, evoked in the southern area by a checkerboard of raised flower beds and a central fountain where agrotherapy activities are carried out with medicinal plants and which recall religious symbols present in the geometries of the conventual cloisters. In the garden, embellished with three nineteenth-century fountains dating back to 1861, when the public aqueduct was built in the city, there are two play areas, with slides and rides, a rose pergola, pomegranates on the back, a maze in boxwood plants inspired by drawings by Serlio, flanked by a row of horse chestnut trees.

In the garden there is a valuable collection of dozens of ancient and modern roses, in pots and with a botanical guide.
