The first step towards more sustainable and careful waste management is therefore the implementation of some good practices aimed at reducing waste as well as raising the awareness of guests towards more responsible behaviour in this area as well. 


Among the possible actions to implement within one's own accommodation we recommend:

  • The elimination or reduction of courtesy kits in favour of the use of dispensers for soap and toiletries;
  • The elimination or reduction of single-serving food packages;
  • The elimination or reduction of plastic products in favour of solutions made of glass or biodegradable materials;
  • Favouring the use of washable and compostable tableware;
  • Favouring the use of tablecloths made of cotton or reusable material;
  • Favour the use of fresh and km0 products;
  • Encourage, where possible, the purchase of products in bulk or with packaging in biodegradable material in the facility and locality;
  • Provide guests with water dispensers to fill their flasks instead of plastic bottles;
  • Provide adequate information on the rules in force in the locality regarding separate waste collection.
