Bio-LogicA

FEEDING THE CITY, CULTIVATING THE COMMUNITY

An event dedicated to quality agriculture organized by the City of Trento and the Azienda per il Turismo Trento, in collaboration with a diverse network of actors that animate the Nutrire Trento table, with the aim of bringing city and country closer together by becoming a space for information, awareness raising, and proposal on the prospects of agriculture and the new challenges represented by food and healthy lifestyles.

Bio-logicA: an event spread throughout the territory to reflect but also to experience first-hand what it means to ‘Feed the city, cultivate the community’.

The event scheduled from 13 to 16 March 2025 includes a rich calendar of events spread throughout the city.
After the first year in which the focus was on the social value of agriculture, this year the theme will be ‘Feeding the city, cultivating the community’: events, meetings and tastings to investigate how the rural and urban, natural and cultural worlds are linked together. Food in fact is territory, history and tradition, but it also follows the changes and therefore the new needs of society and the Planet.

The “Feeding the City, Nurturing the Community” conference will begin Friday afternoon at Palazzo Geremia and continue Saturday morning, focusing on the value of food policies.
In conjunction with the Mostra dell'Agricoltura - Agriculture Show, 15 and 16 March 2025, inside the pavilions in Via Briamasco (the historic location of the Mostra dell'Agricoltura) on both days special attention will be given to the farmers' market: a space dedicated to the sale of agricultural products that can be purchased directly from local producers, with a series of workshops and demonstrations for adults and children organised by the Associations of the Territory (Donne in Campo Trentino, AGIA - Associazione Giovani Imprenditori Agricoli Trentino, CIA - Agricoltori Italiani Trentino, Coldiretti - Campagna Amica - Donne Impresa - Slow Food - Confagricoltura).
Some side events will enrich the guests of Bio-Logica with new experiences by taking part in a real cooking class with the products purchased at the market, or through didactic workshops proposed by the Muse or by visiting some agricultural and/or social cooperatives in our territory.
