There will be two replicas and the dates of Ettore Bassi's show at the Santa Chiara Auditorium in Trento with the show "Trap for mice". They will be staged on Tuesday and Wednesday 27 and 28 February 2024.

On November 25, 1952, Agatha Christie's "Mouse Trap" was staged for the first time at the Ambassadors Theatre in London. Since then, for 70 years without interruption, the curtain has been raised on this timeless "yellow" comedy of extraordinary stage effectiveness. And now it's our turn... It's not usual for me, often a playwright director in my own right, to measure myself against a classic of theatrical literature. Certainly to be interpreted, but to be served and respected. But I had no hesitation in accepting. Because "Trap for mice" has a fierce and pressing plot, is steeped in suspense and irony, and is inhabited by characters who are never just silhouettes or gender stereotypes, but bizarre and ambiguous creatures just right to stimulate and allow a staging that is not dusty or clichéd.
