A place not to be missed for the beauty of the unspoilt nature and the power of the water gushing from the rocks is the Wolf Waterfall; a 36-metre-high waterfall set between dark vertical walls of porphyry, covered in brightly coloured mosses and lichens.

The route in detail

From the Caricabotte car park near the beginning of the Strente forest road, continue upwards along the tarmac road and then take the fork where the path marked 'Cascata del Lupo' begins.

WARNING the route is currently closed due to work along the SP102 access road.
