It is an event dedicated to Argentina that will take place on 2 June 2024 at the Portland Theatre in Trento. The audience will be entertained by a show, a book presentation, tangheri dances, "Argentina" themed ice creams and a swap party in full "COMPARTIMOS" style. The event organised by Compagnia Pequod, APS La Burrasca, Fondazione Museo Storico del Trentino, Trentini nel mondo, Unione Famiglie Trentine Abroad, Provincia Autonoma di Trento and Fondazione Caritro will be hosted in the historic theatre of Piedicastello.

But let's see the contents of the initiative in detail below:

1. At the opening of the event, the public will find a pleasant surprise: an Argentina-themed ice cream offered by the UMSe Office for Territorial Cohesion and the enhancement of Trentino's share capital abroad and by the Office for Territorial Cohesion. The moment will be cheered by the tango association in the dark who will dance the Argentine tango. It will be possible to attend the swap party organised by El Costurero Trento. The rules are simple: bring a maximum of 5 clothes that you no longer wear and you can exchange them with as many clothes made available by other "swappists". An eco-friendly way of experiencing fashion and shopping.
2. At 5.30 pm there will be a presentation of the book "Le arie pure e libere del Plata: l 'emigrazione trentina in Argentina (1870-1914)" with the presence of the author Renzo Maria Grosselli published by the Fondazione Museo storico del Trentino, interviewed by Dr Michele Toss and Dr Chiara San Giuseppe.
3. At 7:00 pm it will be time for "Compartimos - un sogno nome Argentina", a show written and directed by Maura Pettorruso that starts from Maria Vittoria Barrella's travel diaries in Argentina. It is accompanied by the music and guitar of Lorenzo Bernardi, a musician who knows South American sounds well thanks to his numerous international tours.

The actress Maria Vittoria Barrella spent a month in Argentina - thanks to the project of Youth Interchange of the Autonomous Province of Trento and met the Trentino Circles of the various areas of the country: from Buenos Aires, to the Pampas, from Cordoba, to Avellaneda.
