El Paes dei Presepi
The small town of Miola di Piné has become famous over time for the characteristic event of "El Paes dei Presepi". The event celebrates the custom of the inhabitants to set up dozens and dozens of nativity scenes at Christmas time, in the windings, on the little windows and in the ancient porticos, some handcrafted and of considerable artistic merit such as the mobile nativity scene of the Anesin Family.
Taste and traditions of the Piné Plateau
During the Christmas period, Miola di Pinè is known as "El Paes dei Presepi". The event celebrates the custom of the inhabitants to set up their handcrafted nativity scenes on the windows, in the vòlti and on the fountains. Walking through the narrow streets of the village, one can admire dozens and dozens of nativity scenes, from the most modern and original to the most traditional ones.
On the program are a treasure hunt, a market with food and wine and handicrafts, and plenty of entertainment for the whole family.
Free shuttle bus for Trento Guest Card holders
The service is reserved for Trento Guest Card holders and will operate from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on 8, 9, 16, 23 and 30 December 2023 and on 6 January 2024. Reach the Trento Christmas Market without moving your car. The shuttle bus will take you free of charge to discover the Christmas City, leaving from Brusago, Piazze and Baselga di Piné about every 90 minutes.
