Wolf Waterfall

Opening times:
• from January 2021 to December 2025, from Monday to Sunday 6am-11:59pm

An adventurous trek leads into a gorge "carved" into the porphyry: the waterfall, over 30 meters high, makes its way between walls covered with mosses and lichens.

Tradition has it that once near the waterfall formed by the waters of Rio Regnana a wolf died: it is not known how true it is, but what is certain is that today the Cascata del Lupo represents an excellent excuse for fairytale excursions, among stone steps and moss-covered rocks. As a starting point we recommend the village of Piazze di Bedollo, on the Altopiano di Piné: after about thirty minutes of walking along a path that quickly descends - beware of the slippery rocks! -  you will reach the waterfall over 30 meters high. For the return, take the same path. Discover the itinerary in detail: CLICK HERE

If you do not like trekking, know that from Segonzano the route can be covered by car and the advice is to park just before the start of the Strente forest road and then continue on foot in the woods for about ten minutes.  ATTENTION, the route from Segonzano is currently closed due to works along the SP102 access road (closure by provincial ordinance until the end of March 2024).
